Lots of holistic fairs, business days, workshops and events in the near future and I would be delighted to meet you.  The Reiki journey is a very personal thing and I would love to help you explore the wonderful world of reiki and personal development further....don't hesitate to contact me....

January 2011

So, what an amazing retreat we had at our luxury 4* venue!  An incredible way to commence the new year - much learning and personal development from the workshops I ran and the hotel & food was out of this world, absolutely exquisite!!

And guess what?  We're going to do it all over again in January 2012 - if you're interested contact me for more details.........can't wait!!..

I was so excited to get my brand new 2011 diary - 365 days to plan exciting events, workshops & courses.....hooray!!  I have been doing several personal development courses & using my new found skills and seeing fabulous results both personally & with the reiki where the already effective treatments have just exploded with even more astounding results!....

Really looking forward to our Glastonbury daytrip & carnival in November (5th) - Spiritual day & an amazing carnival....hope there's roast chestnuts!  Also getting really excited about the New Year retreat in January...I know that on our reiki journey it is 'just for today' and very much living in the present but I can't wait to relax among wonderful people, swim, a little fine dining, jacuzzi and spiritual teachings!

Hope you are all keeping happy & well, I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the Christmas share for some festive refreshments, singing and great company as always!

In love & light Karen xx

September 2010

Well, I have been having such a wonderful time with you all on your Reiki journeys that my poor old blog took second place!  But this is life - far more important to be out there enjoying every second and living it rather than sitting in on the lap top.......

So, an incredible few months and more exciting events ahead.  Meditation classes have produced fabulous and life changing results enabling individuals to make major decisions - whether work related, relationships, life choices, meditation has helped increase confidence and courage to make those decisions.

I can not believe that we are sailing along into our 6th successful year and back at Stonehenge again in September and Glastonbury in November, including a residential retreat and masters in November (Glastonbury also)....I am already getting excited about 2011 and what it holds whilst of course living in the present JUST FOR TODAY!!!

Having qualified as a Nordic Walking Instructor last year after a great deal of hard work and studying I am delighted that my 2nd business Nordic Walking Nature went live last year which has proved wonderfully spiritual and extremely humbling as it gets people out walking in nature and connecting with themselves and those around them.  I have been blown away by the fabulous results and it works wonderfully alongside the reiki.  Come and try it - have an instructional technique class with me and experience the benefits for yourself!!

All for now but stay tuned - my 7th year at Stansted and huge interest in the Reiki courses and looking forward to meeting you soon.

Namaste, Karen xx

Tuesday 3rd February - Karen visits Avebury ancient stone circle in the snow!

Sometimes in life you simply have to cease the moment, listen to your heart and go with the flow as they say......

On 3rd February I fulfilled one of my dreams ~ after 3 years of waiting and in the deepest snow and severe weather warnings I listened to my heart, whilst applying logic and common sense (trust me) and loaded up the car ~

For my spiritual journey to these sacred stones in Wiltshire I packed:

1.  A large shovel!  In case of being snowed in.....

2.  A vast flask of hot mushroom soup - emergency rations...

3.  A large torch to see my way in the blizzards ;-)

4.  My faithful digital camera and spare batteries

Blankets, first aid kit, provisions, layers of clothes....oh, and some joss sticks of course for a ritual at the stones!

So, I sent Reiki ahead for my journey and connected to Avebury using the distance symbol.  I sent out to the Universe and arrived safely after the most beautiful, picturesque journey........

Then blessed by Winter sunshine and glistening, twinkling snow I started my adventure.......the energy and the magic of the stones was just unbelievable, the excitement that I felt is difficult to put into words.....

Despite many previous visits to Avebury seeing it in the snow was just incredible.  The stones took on a new life and their appearance where the snow gently sat in the many facets and grooves.

The snow was crisp and fresh beneath my feet and sparkled as the sun reflected off the surface.......I was in my own little world connecting with the wonderful energies and exploring.  The ridgeway, Silchester Hill........West Kennet Long Barrow....what an incredible landscape!

After 3 magical hours the weather began to turn, the sun went in and the wintery weather hovered ~ it was time to move on....A safe journey back delivered me home where the sky was blue and the clouds had golden linings as the sun shone through...

The most wonderful adventure ever, well worth 3 years of waiting and one that I shall always remember.  350 photographs ~ if you have a special stone and wish to see it in the snow let me know........until the next adventure....

November 2008 - Glastonbury Retreat and Reiki Masters Course...

Tuesday 3rd June 2008  ~ Our Visit with the Dalai Lama

I have a piece of the intricate sand mandala, a white lotus flower blessed by the Dalai Lama (holder of the white lotus), a heart overflowing with love and far more wisdom than I'm qualified to use.....

All of these I share with you, with blessings, namaste

Tashi Lhunpo Monks create sand mandala                          After a ceremony the mandala is brushed away

Dear All ~ I promised to tell you about our Dalai Lama experience and to bring some love and wisdom back for you all.

We had the most incredible experience during our 3 day teachings ~ you don't have to be a Buddhist to be touched by the wonders of this Holy Man (if you are not familiar with Tenzin Gyatso - the 14th Dalai Lama read the history and how they chose him ~ it really is fascinating www.dalailama.com).

The Dalai Lama is beautifully kind, wise, incredibly intelligent and the most amazingly humble human being with the cheekiest sense of humour and the most endearing smile!  He lights up your life with his energy alone.

He is a true example of what is meant when something comes straight from the heart and this radiates openly.

Often as he delivered his spiritual download he would interchange between English and Tibetan and during a particularly long burst of the latter he would then start chuckling, his shoulders would rise and fall as he laughed, a warm smile and the entire gathering would instinctively laugh connecting with the joy and energies which were so inspiring, not even understanding what he had said until his Translator 'enlightened us'.   Truly magical...

We were lucky to receive many deep and powerful lessons during our teachings and I now return refreshed, inspired and even more full of love and certainly much wiser!

During our visit the Tashi Lhumpo monks created the most intricate sand mandala (see photographs ~ I have more).

The Buddhists believe that everything is impermanent (which of course it is) and that you shouldn't get attached to things as nothing lasts, hence living life in the present moment and not in the past or the future........they spend hours creating these Mandalas and then bless them, have a ceremony ~ it is swept into the centre and distributed....

They are in the UK until August and you MUST go and see these incredible monks chanting, dancing and their sand mandala being created in Bournemouth later this month www.tashi-lhunpo.org.uk  We will be going, probably on the 9th June if you want to join us.

With love and light Karen x
